Can scammers send email as your business?
Type your website and find out in a few seconds. It's free, it only looks at public information, and I don't save anything you type.
Can someone send email pretending to be your business? Type your website and find out in a few seconds.
Email me your website and I'll run this check for you, free: damian@damiansecurity.com
It only looks at public info, like looking someone up in a phone book. I don't save anything you type.
What your result means
High risk
Nothing asks inboxes to reject fakes, so many get through. It's a one-time fix.
Medium risk
Partly protected. Some fakes still get through or land in spam instead of being blocked. A few changes finish the job.
Low risk
Your settings ask Gmail, Outlook and others to reject fake email in your name. The free check-up covers the rest: website, passwords and backups.
What it looks at
Public settings that every email service reads when a message arrives. The check reads them the same way, like looking someone up in a phone book. It doesn't touch your computers, your website or your email.
Your email
Who handles your email
Google, Microsoft, Zoho, GoDaddy or someone else.
Who can send as you
The guest list
Whether there's a public list of the services allowed to send email for your business.
Fake email blocking
The instruction
Whether inboxes are told to block emails that fail the checks, or only to watch.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No sign-up, and no email needed.
Do you save my website or my results?
No. The check runs in your browser and asks a public internet directory (Cloudflare's, or Google's as a backup) directly. Nothing reaches me unless you click a button to email me your results.
My email works fine. Why does it say High risk?
Working and protected are different things. Your email can work perfectly while anyone can still send fakes in your name. The fix doesn't change how you send or receive email.
What if I don't have a business website?
Then you probably use Gmail or a similar free address, and this check doesn't apply. If you'd like a professional address like you@yourbusiness.com, I can help you set it up.
